Colin Coonsis Inlay Jewelry
Colin Coonis is a rising star in the sky of Native American jewelry artists. He has recently been featured in Native People's Magazine. Son of Rolanda Haloo, famed Zuni inlay artist, Colin learned the art of inlay at a young age.
He now is known for his edgy and contemporary pieces and is featured at Santa Fe galleries, at the Santa Fe Indian Market and at the Heard Indian Market.
Colin's major works are in museums such as the Eiteljorg in Indianapolis, Indiana and are worn by reality TV star, Dina Eastwood, of Carmel Valley, California.
I am pleased to offer select one-of-a-kind pieces by Colin Coonsis.

Amazing Sterling Cuff
By Rolanda Haloo
in Colaboration with
her son, Colin Coonsis
You might wonder why this cuff bracelet coordinates so well with Colin's mother of pearl and opal work. He had a hand in some of the making of this unique piece.
Rolanda Haloo, Colin's mother is a master Zuni inlay artist. He learned the art from her.
In this bracelet Rolanda has taken a red orange Mexican opal, surrounded it by beautiful lab made opal and then bezel set it. Next to that are two mother of pearl and pen shell stations.
The sterling silver is heavy gauge and weighs 44.5 grams on my scales.
This beautiful piece will fit a small wrist loosely and a medium wrist more snugly. It measures 5.5 inch inside with a 1.25 inch opening for a total of 6 and 3/4 inches around.
The bracelet is hallmarked RH Sterling Zuni NM
This unusual Colin Coonsis ring has mother of pearl set in sterling in a rectangle measuring 1 and 1/8 by 7/8 wide. It is beveled which is very difficult to do.
While the top of the ring is highly polished, in contrast, the band is organic copper on silver. The rugged band is not tapered very much. It measures just short of 1.2 inch in diameter.
The combination of the more formal ring with a rugged band makes this ring very unusual. It is size 5 and 1/2. It would even make a great pinky ring! When on, it sits very close to the hand.

Amazing, Fabulous, Two Sided Sterling Silver Pendants
These are the sterling silver Zuni inlay that Colin Coonsis is known for. He has taken his popular pixel design, added amazing lab made opal and made a reversible pendant. The mother of pearl and lab made opal is done in Colin's intricate Pixel design. It is very difficult to work in lab made opal but Colin is forever innovating.
In addition, he has set the sides of the pendants in natural shell.
Please note that some darker areas are just camera reflection.
Set in heavy sterling with a nice size bail. Colin has stamped his name on the bail.
This is like having two pendants in one!
They measure 1 and 1/4 inches in diameter not including the bail
They are 1/8 inch deep.
Weight is 14.2 grams on my scales.
The pendants are the same size. I just took the photos at different distances.
These are purchased directly from the artist in Zuni Pueblo, NM
These are sturdy pendants suitable for a man or woman.
